Text instructions and text labels can be styled and formatted to add emphasis to text information in your 3D presentation, fit more text into constrained places, or add links to websites directly from your instructions and labels.

Format text
Wrap a word, a phrase, or all of your text in a tag. Each tag has an opening tag, like <b>, and a closing tag with a forward slash, like </b>. Copy an example from the table, paste it into your instruction or label, and then change the text.
For a hex color, use a six-digit hex code from any color picker, like #33CC00. For a named color, use a plain color name, like red or blue.
Combine tags
Nest tags to combine styles. Close them in reverse order, so the last tag you open is the first tag you close.
You can also mix sizes in the same label or instruction. This label uses a bold, gold, size 40 product name, and a size 20 part number on the next line:

Add links to websites
Use the <link> tag to open a website when a viewer selects the text. Put the full web address, starting with https://, inside straight quotes:
Common links in Jigs include:
- Product landing pages
- PDF documents on websites
- Contact forms and lead generation
- Legal disclaimers or terms and conditions
A <link> tag doesn't change how text looks. Add <u> and <color> inside the link so viewers can see the text is a link.
You can add more than one link to the same instruction. This text adds two links to a legal disclaimer, like the example below. Replace the example.com addresses with your own.

Note (existing info callout): Copy the examples on this page, or write your text in a plain text editor before you paste it into JigSpace. Word processors like Word and Google Docs can swap straight quotes (") for curly quotes (“ ”), and links need straight quotes.
