When creating a Jig, the performance indicator in the JigSpace workshop helps understand how to optimize your 3D models to ensure your 3D presentations run smoothly for your viewers.

Look for this handy tool at the bottom right of your screen. It hosts live performance information about your Jig under two main factors:

1. Number of triangles (polygons)
2. Number of sub-objects.

For best results we recommend < 200,000 triangles (or polygons) and < 50 sub-objects.

‍How to fix this?

If your Jig is high in either triangles or sub-objects, we recommend either:

• re-exporting your CAD files with less parts (only export what you need); OR
• follow our model preparation masterclass to learn how to improve this using Blender
